Asphalt Driveways and Patching

Driveways should be recycled every 3-5 years. Many years later, your driveway begins to show significant cracks that will fill with water and destroy the driveway over time. Resealing the driveway adds a thin layer of asphalt to the top layer, closing any cracks beneath it.  Driveway resealing is not very expensive. Regular reselling usually adds 10 years to the life of a driveway. Although you can resell a driveway yourself, we always recommend contacting a professional to do this.  Resellers sold in home improvement stores are inferior to the ones used by professionals.   Asphalt resurfacing  is the number one reason for you to take care of how well your driveway is installed in the first place.  If the gravel base of the driveway is properly installed, the driveway will never need to be rebuilt.  Instead, it can be revived every 15 years or so.  Re-surfacing involves tearing a few inches of asphalt and applying fresh asphalt on top.  Instead of...
